Life is all good in camp, but sometimes you really need a breather. So I'm pretty looking forward to book out and hang out with friends and get some "civilian air".

However, my current situation really sucks to the core. Everyone used to hang out together, when I say together, I really mean together. No line is being drawn or whatsoever. Sadly, just one particular incident happened and everything changed on that point of time. Friendship broken, line is drawn, relationship soured.

As a neutral party, I have to becareful who I ask to hang out, people from Group A must not be seeing people from Group B and vice versa. To make it worse, I am serving the nation and I don't have got all days to plan such lame shit.

Really wish for the good old days. Everyone could just hang out together. Sucks to be me right now. It feels really like, I don't have any friends at all. Bah, nobody will ever understands until you gave two years of your life to the nation.

Finally I'm a one month old soldier, and the day before National Day I'm gonna be two month old soldier! That will be the end of my physical training phase and real hell will begin. It's really fast man, three more months from now and I will POP LOH!

Okay cut the crap, Let me blog something about people whom I like and people whom I don't like in my platoon, consisting of 57 people.

There are people who I don't really like, especially those wayang and siao-on kind. What do you mean by wayang and siao-on? Basically it means to put on a very steady and ready to go kind of attitude especially only infront of the commanders to gain their favour. I don't mind people doing it once it a while, but doing repeatedly really give me goosebump. I understand these people wanted to go OCS (Officer Candidate School) but I'm going to do it my way to get in there. ;D

Another people whom I don't really like is CHAO KENG. So again what is a Chao Keng? Well, these are people who abit abit here and there not feeling well and they will not participate in any activity. Apparently, I have one in my bunk. How nice. During our area cleaning, when everyone is contributing in cleaning up the bunk, he will be sitting down and doing now. Until when I have pour out my profanities dictionary on him, he will at least do the easiest chores. Seriously fuck you.

Okay enough of the angry side. There are two sides to every coin isn't it? So now let's move on to the happy side!

Generally, people whom I really like are people who can communicate well with me. They joke and share their thoughts with me. Mostly these people are from my bunk because we spend almost the whole weekday together. They are people whom I wanna be with always whenever I book in. Without them, I'm pretty much finished. They are very motivating in the sense that they will cheer for you when you are at your limit. Funny how you will try to push beyond your limit just for them and I don't even do that for my mom. ):

Sunday is book in day and I'm suppose to be dreading it. But something rare happened to me today.

I was on my way home from my market and an old man on a "Happy Walker" (it's a kind of wheel chair which does not have a leg rest, you have to walk while sitting on it) asked for help, so seeing that I have so much free time before book in. I decided to help (At this point I have the decision to say NO, but I did not ^^). While pushing the old man, we made several stops as he gets breathless after a few short "walks". At each stops the old man asked if I was in a hurry, yet again I said no! I decided to help him all the way.

When I was at a most difficult position, with lots of car coming in and out of the carpark, another saint appear before me(I was one of the saint). He along with his wife (very chio) helped me out. The old man wanted to buy some coffee powder, so we pushed him to where he wanted to go. After buying it, he requested to go to the wet market to buy some veg and fish. The man decided to help the old man with the grocery while I pushed the old man to the road side to take taxi back. The man who helped with the grocery needed to rush back home so i'm all on my own.

Managed a get a cab, I sent him all the way to his door step since he lived just opposite my block. Felt great after helping someone who is in difficulty. Wish I was in my fucking uniform and someone fucking stomp me!

Many people who wanna go OCS (Officer Cadet School) has no idea what they really want. Yes, it gives u the glory, honour and fame. On top of that, you are given higher authority and privilleges. But if that is all you think than I'm sorry to say that you will not be able to make it.

I too want to go OCS but for I see it as my career option. Seriously, given that I graduated from Republic Poly with a half fuck GPA, I see myself nowhere in the society especially in the private sector.

With the current University Fee, I doubt after ORD and getting a job outside with just a 1.5k+ cheque slip can help you survive. In this case if I sign on, I probably will be getting government subside when I opt to pursue further study as a NSF.

But what are the chances of a PTP/Leadership batch recruit getting into OCS? Worry worry.

Alright, I've decided not to delete my blog after much consideration because I want to prove my life is not mundane even when I'm in NS! So stay tuned KOH HUI YING!

Let's begin, finally I've finished my 16 days confinement week in Tekong. Currently in 5th company. Things are pretty okay inside the army, can't really tell you the detail here on what we are doing. Everything inside is physically demanding and also mentally challenging. Basically you can have zero strength but an unbreakable mindset. No matter how tough training can be, don't ever give up because tough times don't last but tough man do.

Looking forward to meet all my friends later on and also tomorrow. Miss them badly after the 16days. The thought of booking in on sunday night make me cherish my times even more. As a saying goes, times wait for no man.

Bought a packet of cigg on thursday out of anger and I finished it on saturday.
I smoked 9 sticks on thursday, I was pretty shock with that amount myself.

Another Saturday

Wake up pretty early today just to attend an alma mater hi-tea season at my former secondary school. Had buffet for 23 bucks there, really laugh out loud. Took some pictures with our teachers and vandalised the school cause it's gonna be tear down at the end of this year. Memories.

Finally went to my uncle's funeral. It's pretty sad to see my cousin who is only sec 1 to lose a father like that. He is strong and sensible, hear my story. On the day my uncle died, he didn't cry. In fact, he went to console his mom and grandma. But when he got home, he cried infront of his mom and said,"Daddy is no longer with us anymore". Life is so short man. Cherish.

Went for UT.

Went to work.

Uncle passed away yesterday, mom is very sad.

This week seems to pass real fasttt! Probably cause I didn't go to school tuesday and off day on wednesday!
